General Information

We are a small, vibrant two-teacher school in Co. Donegal, offering a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive. With an enrolment of approximately 20-25 pupils, our small class sizes ensure personalised attention and strong relationships between teachers and students.

At Killygordon National School, we teach the full primary school curriculum and enhance learning with links to specialist teachers for activities such as football, badminton, drumming, ukulele, and more. We are proud to provide facilities like our dedicated sensory room and spacious school yard, which features a herb garden, swings, a playground, and even school chickens! We have a part-time Special Education Teacher, School Secretary and Caretaker. Classes run from 9:05 – 2:45.  Pupils are taught the full Primary School Curriculum and have access to a range of projects throughout the school year.

We also ensure every child receives a free hot meal every day, supporting their health and readiness to learn in a warm, welcoming environment.
